Strange thing, this. When I get up in the morning, I find myself in a strangely different environment. Not the usual mundane furniture, ordinary pictures, plain plates or straight white light. Instead, I find myself confronted with bright pink. And that in spades. A sailor on pink dots greets me upon opening my eyes (I figure the ‘thumb-up’ gesture is added by my neocortex). I jump down four feet before my feet touch the ground. The gay-parade pink dog and the poodle imagery…. all there. In the bathroom, turn the penguins foot to hear the radio loud (avoid the bright red alarm button) and stay clear of the nail paint drying machine as to not empty it’s battery. If needed, you can always press the banana to make that little gorilla’s motor whirl until that finish is dry. Creaky floor boards lead to a strawberry figured table (cloth); avoid use of too red red light – the cloth’s finish disappears (a feature, not a bug). The cutlery and plates bear white dots on red backing. Pink plates with cake imagery. The chairs are pink, white, blue, yellow and some shades in between. Boxes in between. This morning I got up and found myself whistling parisian electronica… and it worked. The perfect OST, make that title theme, is a thing Le Tone call “The friendly dragon” and I figure its probably pink, too. Enjoy.
